The Cowboys have what it takes to win the superbowl and here's why::

(Offense)

- 3 Headed Back-field (Barber, Jones, Choice)
- A Great Quarterback (Tony Romo) - Bollinger/Brad Johnson
- Probably one of the best Tight-End Core In the NFL (Witten, Bennett, Phillips)
- Great Offensive Line (Columbo, Davis, Gurode, Adams, Kosier)
- Adaquete depth behind Quarterback (Kitna, McGee)
- Good Offensive Line Depth (Holland, Procter, McQuistan, Brewster, Free)

(Defense)

- An Upgraded Defensive Line (Spears, Ratliff, Igorlansky) -Canty
- An Upgraded Linebacker Core (Ware, Brooking, James, Spencer) -Ellis
- An Upgraded Defensive Back Field (Newman,Sensabaugh, K.Hamlin, Jenkins)
- Great Defensive Back Depth (Scandrick, Mickens, M.Hamlin, Watkins, Smith)
- Great Linebacker Depth (Carpenter, J.Williams, Butler, Hodge, B.Williams)

(Special Teams)

- Pro Bowl Kicker And Punter (Folk, McBriar)
- Excellent Kick Off Specialist (Buchler)
- A Draft Full Of Special Teams Demons (Butler, Williams, Williams, Hodge, Hamlin, Smith, Hodge)
- Felix Jones +If Healthy (Need I Say More)

Now, if the Cowboys are able to be consistent at getting a running game going each, and every game they will be able to win even in december. It will also open it up for the passing game with the Tight Ends and the wide receiver when they get opportunities.

Thoughts?

good post, if you ask me, this season is going to be dictated by the level of play of the Big Uglies on offense. If our offensive line can stay healthy and improve its run blocking, this team will be scary. If the offensive line does not stay healthy or they do not play well, ultimately that will be the reason why this team does not meet its potential.

I believe it's going to be a good battle for the right guard position with Kosier/McQuistan/Procter/Holland/and Brewster.

My Prediction:

Either Brewster or Holland if he can stay healthy. If McQuistan is showing more strength and aggressiveness this preseason, I believe he will be the clear cut starter.

Also, Im still not counting Kosier out because he is the more experience and sightly more skilled but I he's small and bigger defensive lineman tend to man handle him alot.

questions still remain.

(offense)

3 headed monster - will Garrett use all 3 and will he stay committed to the run?

not great but very good right now

agree about the tight ends

not a great o-line an overrated 0-line that forgets how to block in December.

a better backup qb I agree with.

disagree. our o-line depth is crap.

(defense)

what don't know if our d-line is upgraded yet(though I think Igor will be better than Canty).

we don't know if we upgraded our linebackers. I think Brooking will be much better than Zack. so far spencer is a million times better in coverage than Ellis was but Ellis was by far the better pass rusher. hopefully spencer stays healthy and steps his game up.

I agree we upgraded our db's and the depth.

linebacker depth is also an unknown. we have 1 bust in carp and a bunch of rookies.

(special teams)

agree, probowl legs

we don't know about the legend of buehler yet.

I wouldn't call any of them special teams demons except maybe one or 2 of them.

agree on Felix the cat.

Speaking of Brewster is he going to play OG or OT or both? I am excited to see if we actually drafted a good OL for once.

Totally disagree, and btw I think you mean LG.

If Kosier is healthy he'll keep his spot. He's the glue and we saw that in spades last year. Holland is a capable fill-in. McQ has shown no indication he will ever contribute IMO. We keep hoping cause Parcells (the great OL talent judge ) liked him but the reality is he was completely overmatched whenever he had to play. Brewster? Well, I'm not holding my breath.
