Eagles usually play almost half their schedule in white unis at home due to the humidity. This has been the case for awhile.

Eagles will wear white for their first 2 home games, darks for their last 6 home games (including their awful black alternates twice).

Throwbacks.

I thought the throwbacks were officially dead since the NFL won't let us wear the white helmets anymore.

I pray to the heavens we somehow bring those throwbacks back.

They could go more for the 94 jersey and wear the silver pants and helmet with the throwback jersey.

Packers are wearing throwbacks and simply removed the logo and stripes in the helmet.

Dolphins are doing a 50th anniversary wearing throwbacks but with the current helmet.

This works best if one team has a light primary color and the other team has a dark primary color. Both teams in dark jerseys or both teams in light jerseys is a bit too much for me.

I'm just guessing but I think maybe it goes back to black and white TV. I could see how it might be a lot harder to tell those two teams apart on a B&W tv set. Having one team wear light and one dark made it a lot easier.

I'm old school. Give me true school colors and clean lines. Give me UT, Bama, OU, Auburn, Florida, Notre Dame, etc.
