Cowboys will beat the Bears if they do TWO things consistently:

1. Go all out to pressure Grossman up the middle

2. Make them pay for double teaming T.O. by feeding the ball to Witten/Fasano or Crayton/Hurd

Give it your best shot. Limit it to TWO things (or three if you feel so inclined.)

1. If the O-Line gives Romo time to find open receivers, regardless of who they might be.

2. Run the ball well on a brutal Bears defensive front.

3. DON'T TURN THE BALL OVER!

I'd rather rely on our team to play well than on the Bears to play badly.

We also need to keep the chains moving and avoid the turn over. Time of posession could be a big factor in this game.

I hope we can get pressure on Rex, we need to be weary of the long ball to Berrian. I don't think they can beat us if they have to make or sustain long drives.

1. Protect the ball. Chicago is an opportunistic defense that forces turnovers
We have to avoid the giveaways.

2. Neutralize Hester. I read of lot posts where guys are saying we're not
afraid of Hester. Folks it's not a matter of being afraid of him. It's just
being prudent to take him out of the game as much as possible.

Saying we're going to kick it to Hester is like them saying "we're not afraid of Terrell Owens. We're going to cover him all night one-on-one with a linebacker. Crazy.

Those two things win the game for us even if Grossman picks this week to develop a hot hand. I like our chances in a shootout, like someone above said.

Dallas just needs to play their game. We want to run the ball with success and throw with success. We want to put pressure on the opposing QB and try and force turnovers. As NIKE ad says Just do it. :laugh2:

Play D and O and we win

A distillation, crystallization of the crux of what the Boys need to win. I applaud your statement, brutha.

1.Cut way back on the offensive penalties.
2.Contain Hester, force their offense to march down the field.
3.Protect Romo
