Cowboys Will Likely Face Colt McCoy Next Week; Alex Smith breaks two bones in leg

Colt Mccoy is more willing to move the ball downfield and that makes me nerrvous honestly.
I was literally thinking about that while watching the game believe it or not.
I said to myself in the second quarter, I really hope Smith doesn't get hurt, because I believe their offense would be more potent with Colt Mccoy and is superior arm talent. Not that I would ever wish injury on anyone, but it honestly crossed my mind.

Bunch of Texas homers on this board

McCoy is a career backup for a reason, and he does NOT have good arm talent.

I think our defense is the best it's been when we'll play him Thursday. So let's demolish him...

Ha, I said in my prediction here last night that Commanders would get beat up by that Texans front with their OL injuries, I guess that's one way to get beat up. Brutal.

Commanders still nearly won that game. Definitely not a gimme even with Colt and their injuries, and Trent William's might play.

We have got to break out more playaction than we did last time against them, if we can put points up we'll win this game. If not, it's going to be real ugly.

..oh gee, man. That is crazy bad injury.. poor dude.

That was BRUTAL to watch!!!!

I hate the Commanders but I hate seeing players having to go through that.

I don't care about the game on Thursday right now. I hope Alex Smith can heal and resume his career

These kinds of injury setbacks can have a weird way of rallying your team... Getting two tough road wins and going home is a huge boost to Dallas though.

The team will be up to take the fight to Washington after giving away a game to them earlier this season as well.

Have a feeling the Skins come out fast and swinging— but a heavy dose of Zeke and Dak on the ground with some nice play action passing gets us a big, big win on Thurs

Let this sink in people......our D just shut down one the best offenses in the league. AP worries me more than some Colt McCoy (lol)

The only positive with Smith is that he doesn't turn the ball over, outside of that he's basically Dak with less athletic ability. McCoy will actually try to open up the passing game because they are basically playing with house money now, which is why the Cowboys can't go in there thinking they got this. Their defense is still going to be a problem for this Cowboys offensive line.

The defense isn't the concern, this offense scored less points than the Browns against one of the worst scoring defenses in the league.

Somebody needs to tell the quarterback of the Commanders on November 18, 2051 to take the day off.
