Cowboys will not tender Brock Hoffman

What type of savings are we looking at

We keep cutting into our cap and we might have enough money to buy a better franchise

Oh! Well this is a little surprising. He is a valuable player for them. Unless they think his replacement is already on the roster this is a little bit of a gamble. I did not see this coming. It will be interesting to see what happens. He will get offers.
You think every player is a valuable player you're just like Garrett and Jerry!! It's ok to say that a player isn't good enough to be retained

Counting on the interior oline starters' health. While I liked the TJ Bass tender move I also thought it appropriate for Hoffman to be tendered as well.

He's proven to be a decent spot starter level player in his time here.
I liked him.
He'll get picked up.

I hope the oline starter health and depth are up for the challenge.

If they weren't going to give him a 2nd round tender they really couldn't do anything but right of first refusal and they think someone is going to pay him more than they are willing to.

I think it's just we had two baller back-ups decided we'd roll with Bass over Hoffman. I'd of done the same if I could only keep one. Hoffman might be ready to start at center somewhere, but he's a play a way from a personal foul every snap he plays. Over 17 games he might hurt you.
