OK, here is the pessimists view. Dante Hall gets two big returns against us, one for a TD and the other sets up for an easy score. Bledsoe sees red, lots of it all day because the OL forget the little bit about blocking they ever learned. Bledsoe tries the shotgun and Gurode snaps the ball over his head 30 yards in the wrong direction. Bledsoe tries to chase the ball to fall on it but a raging turtle passes him and gets there first. The Cowboys defense gets two picks but it isn't enough because they can only return them to the KC 20. After that the false start penalties set in and the offense moves the ball in the wrong direction.

Final score - KC 24 Dallas 10

Me too and I wrote it!

Honestly, after last week's performance (or lack thereof), the offense must prove itself in my mind before I can legitimately believe in this team again. The offense has been pretty poor since the Az game and I do not believe it is good enough to match KC unless our defense literally shuts them down.

The formula is dismayingly simple. Pressure up the middle and off the edges shuts down both our running and passing game and makes Bledsoe cough up the football. Even allowing the Giants match up extra well against us, it was a pathetic effort in an important game.

The OL is definitely hearing it from everyone this week. We'll see if they can turn it around this week. The constant drumbeat of criticism should be enough to build a fire under their lardy a****, but I would have guessed a critical game last week would have been enough as well. We'll see. I'll stand by my prediction and hope they prove me wrong.

To Bill P's credit-he's able to motivate this team very well after coming off of tough losses.

I'll see it when I believe it-but IF they win, EVERYONE in this forum will be kissing up to this team again(contrary to the 1000's of negative threads this week).
