The Cowboys currently have a modest (though highly enjoyable) two game winning streak. Many now look at the remaining schedule with all the home games and predict Dallas will run the table. If they do that would give the Cowboys an 8 game winning streak which the team has only done once in their history. Can they tie the team record to finish at 12-4?

Just for fun, here’s a list of different winning streaks and the last time Dallas had a streak of that length.

3 Game: 2005, Week 8-11 (Arizona, Philadelphia, Detroit)
4 Game: 1998, Week 9-12 (Philadelphia, NYGiants, Arizona, Seattle)
5 Game: 2003, Week 2-7 (includes bye week, NYGiants, NYJets, Arizona, Philadelphia, Detriot)
6 Game: 1994, Week 5-10 (Washington, Arizona, Philadelphia, Arizona, Cincinnati, NYGiants)
7 Game: 1993, Week 2-11 (includes bye week, Phoenix, Green Bay, Indianapolis, San Francisco, Philadelphya, NYGiants, Phoenix)
8 Game: 1977, Week 1-8 (Minnesota, NYGiants, Tampa Bay, St. Louis Cardinals, Washington, Philadelphia, Detroit, NY Giants)

Note: the Cardinal franchise (St. Louis, Phoenix, Arizona) was defeated as part of each streak listed as well as our current two-game streak. In the six game and seven game streaks they were victims twice. On the other hand they were the team who stopped the team record 8 game streak in 1977.
