So I did a little research. How has the Cowboys franchise fared when it came to games where they won by 20+ points and losses by 20+ points? So I went head to head by each NFL team with an overall record on the bottom. Here is how the Cowboys fared:

AZ 14-3 (Dallas 14 times beat the Cards by 20+ points to only 3 by the Cardinals)
AT 4-0
BAL 0-2
BUF 2-0 (1 in Super Bowl XXVII)
CAR 1-0
CHI 4-1 (the 1 loss being the 44-0 drubbing in 1985)
CIN 2-2
CLE 4-4 (a couple of playoff wins for both team)
DEN 0-1
DET 6-2
GB 4-5 (the last one was the game that got Wade Phillips fired)
HOU 1-0 (Tony Romo's 1st TD pass was in this game)
IND 5-1 (many of you might remember 42-7 late last season)
JAX 0-0
MIA 2-0 (one in Super Bowl VI and the other on Thanksgiving 1999)
MIN 2-3 (the Thanksgiving 1998 game is NOT included here, but the 54-13 romp by the Vikes in 1970 is)
NE 1-1 (the Pats ran the score up in 2007)
NO 3-3
NYG 14-7 (the games lately have been much closer)
NYJ 4-0 (that's a lot considering Dallas does not play them much)
OAK 0-0 (this does not surprise me)
PHI 21-15 (yes - DAL & PHI have made a habit of being each other's B@#$@@#@ )
PIT 2-1 (no Super Bowls included here)
SD 0-0 (kind of surprised by this)
SF 1-3 (this sickens me to no end)
SEA 5-2 (I will never forget 51-7 on Thanksgiving 1980)
STL 7-5 (most of these blowouts were when the Rams were in LA with several playoff games)
TB 2-1 (I will never forget 38-0 on the NFC Divisional Playoff 1981)
TEN 3-1 (some of these blowouts when they were in Houston)
WAS 16-8 (Dallas' latest regular season win is included)

TOTAL
Dallas: 131 wins by 20+ points in 894 regular & post season games for 14.7%
Opponents: 71 wins by 20+ points in 894 regular & post season games for 7.9%

From the franchise's 1960 inaugural season until 2005, the Cowboys lost 9 games when scoring at least 30 points at home. That's 46 seasons.

In the last nine seasons, the Cowboys have already equaled that, losing 9 games when scoring at least 30 points at home. On average, since 2006, we've lost one such home game every year. It happens to the average team about once every six years. We lost six such games in three seasons from 2011-13, when no other team lost more than two.

Last season was the first since 2008 that we did not lose a home game while scoring 30 points.

I really wish you wouldn't post these sometimes, it makes my stomach wrench looking at it.
