TRADE! Dallas sends 1.17, 5.18 to Buffalo for 1.22, 3.22
975.8 points for 940 points (780+160)

22: R1P22 | S XAVIER MCKINNEY, ALABAMA | Locked in a battle to be the first safety taken with fellow SEC warrior Grant Delpit (LSU), McKinney doesn't have many holes in his game, able to play a better deep safety spot and also defend the slot.

TRADE! Dallas sends 2.19 to Kansas City for 2.31, 3.32, 5.31
390 points for 412.6 points (276+116+20.6)

63: R2P31 | CB TROY PRIDE JR, NOTRE DAME | Pride Jr. stands 5-foot-11 and weighs 193 pounds. He's played 12 games each of the last two seasons and has three interceptions and 16 pass deflections

82: R3P18 | WR MICHAEL PITTMAN JR, USC | Pittman has a formal interview with the Cowboys already lined up, indicating their interest. At 6-foot-4 he towers above most corners making him ideal for sideline battles and jump balls.

86: R3P22 | TE ADAM TRAUTMAN, DAYTON | Trautman stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 251 pounds. The Flyers' TE hauled in a whopping 90 receptions in 2019, for 14 touchdowns and 916 yards.

96: R3P32 | EDGE CURTIS WEAVER, BOISE ST. | The Cowboys return to the well, selecting another Broncos edge rusher. His profile is reminiscent of Tyrone Crawford already.

125: R4P22 | QB JALEN HURTS, OKLAHOMA | The former Alabama signal caller transferred to Oklahoma and promptly found himself as one of the Final 4 for the Heisman Trophy in 2020.

don't like Jalen Hurts pick

155: R5P9 | DL BENITO JONES, MISSISSIPPI | At 6-foot-1, 321 pounds, Jones would fit in nicely with ERFA Antwaun Woods to be the bigger half of a nose tackle duo.

177: R5P31 | CB AMIK ROBERTSON, LOUSIANA TECH | The Cowboys could lose their top-4 CBs in the next calendar year, so double-dipping makes total sense. Robertson is small but they know LaTech well (Xavier Woods) and his game speaks for itself.

179: R5P33 | LB CAM BROWN, PENN ST. | The Cowboys always draft a linebacker and unless they go wild in free agency will definitely need one in 2020.

If we draft a backup QB I want 2 things out of that backup.

1... Have the ability to run..

2... Have the ability hit a deep ball.

If you give me those 2 things I think we can do enough with Zeke to still run an effective offense.

don't like Jalen Hurts pick
Jalen is a great back-up for Dak. Very similar type QB which means you don't have to change the game plan or play-calling if he has to take over mid-game.

I also think Jalen gives you some Taysom Hill-like versatility.

I do like this draft but don't understand the trade down scenario.

McKinney fills a long-standing hole.

I don't love Pride but I see his value there.

Love Pittman and Trautman, although I think Trautman goes higher.

Could tolerate Weaver in the late 3rd.

Hurts solid value and need in the 4th. Finally ends the Cooper Rush nightmare.

Benito Jones is a very solid pick. A bigger. better version of Antwaun Woods.

With Jeudy still on the board at 17 should have gotten a better trade back. Replace Pittman with a 3-tech and Arnette instead of Pride.

Love Trautman too and was hoping we could get him in the 4th or even 5th round but I agree he is probably will go higher. My hopes of getting him have vanished after the SR Bowl.

If Jeudy was still on the board, Dallas should have just drafted him.

You’re delusional. We already have that in Dak.

Pay attention to what he said tough guy.

How can one person be so wrong all the time?
I did. Maybe you should. He contradicts himself. Says he wants 2 things in a backup QB then says we can win with that. I said we already have that.

I like McKinney, but waiting until pick 155 to get a DT is a glaring mistake. Should at least be the second or third pick in this draft, and we should probably target 2 DT picks.
