Cowboys working on pretty substantive trades

Why does this make me more than a little nervous...
It makes me nervous because he used the word substantive. That scares me cuz we may over pay. If Mingo and Lance were normal trades what does “substantive” mean?

Every thing always leads back to “what do voluntary mean”. Lol. But seriously it does make me nervous with substantive and he trades, so plural. Interesting and nervous

I mean if worse case is losing a 4th rounder I’m fine. If it’s a 1st for a receiver like how we got Amari? I’m fine.

No team in the NFL wants Tolbert or Ferguson.

Nobody wants any of the three. They are all mediocre. What can they bring in a trade, a fifth or sixth? or a seventh?
Let's get real. We do not have any players worth a darn in a trade except Micah, CeeDee, or our kicker or returner. Why would we trade any of those? They are the best we got.
That’s an emotional response to a down year lol

Out players are good at football. The team itself stinks.

You couldn’t see a bad team like the jags or browns taking on tolbert in a contract year? He’s under valued for us but for a bad team he’s helpful .

I’m fine as long as we don’t bid against ourselves and get fleeced. I would also like a trade down. Try to get more picks in the top 100. So if we bundle some of those 7s and trade up to get a higher pick in any round then I’m fine.

You can say he lost the Lance deal but I think it was worth the risk.
Agree 100%. That trade didn’t work out but I take that trade 10 out of 10 times. If the risk pays off and you get a franchise QB for 10 years then you’re set. Losing a 4th is worth the risk. I’m still mad about the Mingo trade. The risk reward was skewed heavily against us.

At least there is still time for Mingo to work out. In the past this team has used actual 4th round picks on guys like Josh Ball and Viliami Fehoku.

I just don’t see how you trade up in this draft if you are a team….i just don’t know what player around 12 is worth trading up for?

I don’t mind the Mingo trade I just don’t know why they did it especially if they take a receiver first round….

Just remember we gave up 2 #1's for Joey Galloway and a 1st 3rd and 6th for Roy Williams.
