What's up with Bailey and SF. Everytime we go up there, he gets injured. They should wrap him up in a bubble next time we go there to play.

Sham was saying on 105.3 this morning he's expecting Bailey to be out at least four weeks.

".....and Younghoe Koo kicks it through!"

Gotta go with him just for the name entertainment. Plus, he made 88.6% of his FG attempts at Georgia Southern, had 94% touchbacks, and also played DB at Ridgewood High in New Jersey. Born in Seoul.

Has a cool flip-kick FG on You-Tube.

He would be my pick. Irwin-hill should not be considered. His only career FGs came this preseason.

As much as i like Bailey, he's still a kicker and I am not really losing much sleep over this.

If you go by Name History...

Nugent...even if he was more of a great kicker in College.

If you go on sounds of the Name

Younghoe Koo - The name alone brings out many ideas for perverted innuendos which would make me laugh but at the same time would put me in a conundrum as a mod.

Jason Myers - The Friday the 13th and Halloween jokes with the mixed name could be funny for a minutes or two.

So that leaves...

Sam Irwin Hill - since we already know him I imagine he will be the guy. Also I am calling it now.
IF he is the guy...He will have to be called Samwise Gamgee and other hobbit jokes.

Not having Bailey easily cost us 5 points yesterday if you count the time we were in FG range and went for it on 4th down and did not make it because we were afraid to let Heath kick the ball. In a tight game losing points due to the kicking game can come back and bite you. We will need every point we can get against the Commanders and the Chiefs the next 2 weeks. We get spoiled to the automatic kicks that Bailey makes but if you look at the guys we are bringing in, Nugent missed 6 extra points last year. If Bailey was missing easy FGs and extra points then you may be losing some sleep. Chances are the guy that replaces him will shank some easy kicks. There is a reason they are not on a roster right now.

Whoever they sign, just tell him even though he is wearing a Cowboys' jersey, to pretend that he is playing against the Cowboys. Opposing kickers rarely miss against us.

Well you can say the same for any kicker in the league before their first game.

The team had him in preseason and I know they liked him. If they think he is ready, they should give him a shot.

Myers and Nugent have experience but may be damaged goods. Koo and Irwin-Hill are both unproven (although Koo had a chance and blew it already so he may be damaged goods too).

Going back to 2015, from kicks between 30-49 yards:
Myers: 34/39
Nugent: 29/36

Extra Points:
Myers: 76/88
Nugent: 71/78

A lot of extra points missed for both guys...yikes. We're dealing with has-beens here
