May not be him but I see us grabbing a couple experienced vets for LB. May even trade Carter for one

direct roster replacement for Holloman as the 5th or 6th LB and a ST if he is healthy.

Eagles have been terrible at LB for a while but like us being bad often means you didn't have anyone there to bridge the gap and started tossing lots of resources at a group without developing anyone.

A healthy Phillips might offer some upside.

31 other teams will be releasing players whom are on the bubble of the 53 man roster. I can gurantee there will be a handful of those players that will by default, have the ability to start for us. lol.

He was a core special teamer in Philly. Sure would be nice to get an OLB with legit regular defensive-team-type defensive ability.
Durant should prove to be quite challenged in coverage on the weakside. Guess they don't grow on trees, huh? ST can surely use him, though, judging by that showing last game. Guess this is where we're at now -- taking scraps from under Philly's table.

Finding coverage LBers is very hard which is why you see so many SPs which can be 2/3rds of your defense. They have to play the run and defeat OL and still be able to cover RBs and TEs as well as at times WRs. Tough job.
