He’d barely play as a 4th WR.

He’s raw and to assume he’s take snaps from Gallup and Cooks is wishful thinking.
Lol, your funny. Noah Brown took snaps away from Gallup. Noah Brown

Not to mention a 40’ vert and 11’-3” broad jump*. Not to mention a 1.50 10-yard split.

Dude is explosive. He ran 4.40 flat. We’re really acting like this guy is slow, lool.

*Longest of all WRs tested at the Combine
Just go watch the film how easily he beats guys with his speed. Does the system come into play? Maybe a little but you don’t see Tillman 10 yards wide open past the defender in any highlights.

You’re falling into the trap of looking at the roster and depth in 2-D.

The chances of all of the receivers being projected to contribute/make the roster (CeeDee, Gallup, Cooks, Tolbert, et cetera) out of training camp and the regular season unscathed w/out injuries is slim.

I’m not advocating taking Hyatt, but if he was taken, you can bet he’d be integrated into the offense.

Uhhhh, Brown was the third WR. So of course he played a ton of snaps. He was also the #2 for weeks as Gallup missed games coming back from surgery.

The 4th highest WR snap count? Tolbert with 89 snaps.

No way I'd take Flowers over Hyatt. Flowers will have to play in the slot, Hyatt can play anywhere.

Hyatt is bigger, faster, has better hands, and was far more productive playing against significantly better competition. He was the best homerun hitter in college football and it wasn't close. 4.4 doesn't really do justice, he plays faster than everyone else on the field.

Quinton Johnson is a different player. He can be your Calvin Johnson/Larry Fitzgerald go to workhorse. He'd have to be the pick if you wanted a WR, but he won't be there.

Somebody said Hyatt reminds them of Mike Wallace, and I thought that was a really good comp.

That would be a good result for a 26th pick. Wallace was a very good player until he went to Miami.

Flowers played almost exclusively as an outside reciever.

If RB Jahmyr Gibbs and WR Flowers are gone, I would be happy with drafting WR Jalen Hyatt at #26.

TY Hilton played 20 snaps per game. That projects to 340 for the season...

I think he’s had a TD in both preseason games and a bomb in the 1st one…

Think he’s been as advertised.
1st game vs Lions: Jalin Hyatt 1 -4 -4.0 -4 0

2nd game vs Panthers: Jalin Hyatt 4 35 8.8 33 1

I can't believe Hyatt fell as far as he did.

I think teams were jaded by other fast guys who haven't really panned out.
