Aree you serious? I wouldn't be surprised if the "real" reason we struggled yesterday is because the oppositon could just use one guy to defend each receiver...T.O. opened our offense up whether you want to realize it or not.

Romo will have to struggle more now than ever to find an open man....any open man.

Am I saying we shouldn't have let him go? No.

But let's not be stupid here, the guy occupied more of the defense than anyone else did.

The guy produced....no doubt about it.....just like Chucky said....give me three of him!

You could compare his stats to EVERY other team the way that you are and of course you will come away looking as if it were a good trade the way you are looking at it...I'll guarantee that the Raiders end up tonight with more yards passing then what TO had....big deal. Has it occured to you that maybe the reason why the game was so close was because the Pats haqd to account two guys for TO?.......Evidently not.

You would have if the stats had been reversed ..... do you doubt that?

True, but you are kind of doing the same thing with your sig.

That sig is pretty funny though :laugh2: .

His career will continue as long as we talk about him. He's not on the team, why post about him.

If so, someone post about Julius Jones, Tank Johnson, Roy Williams, Greg Ellis, Abram Elam, Chris Canty, Anthony Fasano, Jason Ferguson, Akin Odelyoe, Nate Jones, Jacques Reeves. Did I forget anyone.

Julius Jones had a very good game yesterday. 19 carries, 117 yards, 1 TD. The TD was on a 62-yard run. He also caught two passes for 19 yards.

So all of the gloom and doom of us being doomed without him have been proven wrong.

Now that we have proven that we can win without him and he has proven that he didn't get more yards without Romo and Garrett. Now can we move on and forget this guy?

I don't think I would go by what Chucky says. He had a TO in Tampa by the name of Keyshawn and suspended him for over half the year, then traded him.

There is a reason only Buffalo offered him a contract. Let's see New England picked up Joey Galloway over TO. Enough said. TO is a distraction that his production can't cover.

Ok. Roy Williams may have cost his team the game. He went for the knock out blow on Marshall with 2 or 3 of teammates already there surrounding him. In doing so, he left his man (Stokely) all by himself to score.

New England had to unveil the dreaded 0-0-11 defense, to put 11 defensive backs on stopping TO and "open things up" for everyone else.

Stupid Trent Edwards couldn't take advantage of it.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I'll probably bring it up all season long.

for what it's worth, I plan to post these stats each week at the conclusion of Bills and Cowboys games. I also would like to point out that Roy Williams had more big plays than #81 did against a better defense. :laugh1:
It's going to get old pretty quick. Actually, it's already old. Time to move on.

Apparently so....

That's because Owens is in your head.

I almost feel bad for you. If I was a praying man, I'd pray for you.

Of course you do ......

Just like it does not matter what Romo or our receivers do .... your sore butt already decided how you feel about them.

Dude, you can't be a fan of the Cowboys and still like TO...did you not get the message?

I'm actually glad he's gone because we get to utilize all of our offense strengths and don't have to have a media frenzy every time something goes wrong, but I still like Owens as a player.
