Posted this couple days ago. Seems no one cares much. They put a positive spin on the season of every team. So that may explain the lack of interest from this forum.

Watched it last night...definitely makes me excited for a new season. I really can't wait to see the offense....it was great a year ago and it could be even better this year. They gave Romo his due, which was good to see.

We have the O, the special teams are pretty good....it all comes down to the defense doing a better job of holding up their end of the bargain.

I've watch almost all of them so far, and you are absolutely right, they fluff the hell out of every team. After watching that, I'm convinced that the Jaguars are a Super Bowl contender this year.

I tuned is just before the Cowboys portion started, when they were showing the last part of the Giants highliights.Carter lets their TE make a catch on the ground and he and Claiborne just stand there as he gets up and runs into the end zone for a TD.

Probably. I've forced quite a few on here to realize their point of views and reasons backing them were really stupid. It happens. :p

I watched it. It was good to relive the good games. Tony had a great year. Gets me ready for the season. Thanks for posting this cowboyjoe, or else I would have forgotten.

One stat that was mentioned, Romo threw on 85% of the Cowboys offensive plays. I can't believe it! That is insane. With a premier offensive line, the running game bumping up to 40% would do wonders for the defense and the Win column. 85% passing is not going to be a win for us. WOW.

That was in one game....not for the season. The Vikings game.

That wasn't Claiborne. It was Heath and yes it was a horrid mistake.

I saw it last night. It was great. Sorry I missed your post. it was must see TV. I almost couldn't get back to sleep. I wouldn't say it was a positive spin. They just left all the negative stuff out (LOL).

I think the 85% was for one particular game, although I could be wrong.

They also said that Murray had the highest per carry average among all RB's on the season. That Dallas threw 85% of the time in a game just doesn't pass the logic test when it is combined with the obvious success Dallas had running the ball with Murray.

When I watched the the yearbook last night I focused on the OL. That honestly was a pretty damn good unit last year. The holes they opened up were substantial most of the time, easily demonstrating why Murray had such a high per carry average. That they didn't run the ball more last year was a crying shame and like I said, just wasn't logical.

On a positive note, adding Zack Martin to that line is going to make it just that much better. Martin is so athletic and has such great movement skills that the line is going to be able to do just about anything you could ask an OL to do. I can hardly wait to watch the line this year. Also, I think Garrett has learned his lesson on running the ball and will be more consistent with it now that he has such a good OL to run behind.

If the defense comes around and is even mediocre I think the team really has a chance to do well in 15. If Garrett has indeed learned his lesson and he conveys to Linehan that he wants to run the ball a lot, then I can see a team sort of like Parcells' Giants teams of the late 80's / early 90's. A team that can run the ball well and pound it up in there when they need to and play solid defense and special teams.

Of course the difference would be that the Dallas defense wouldn't be as dominant as those Giants defenses were and that the Dallas passing game would be light years better than those Giant teams were.

That is IF the defense improves a lot. Win with ball control, solid defense and the ability to convert 3rd downs because of such a high powered passing attack.

They're going to have a tough time putting a positive spin on the Cowboys season last year. The only Cowboy yearbooks I would be interested in watching are the years 71, 78, 92, 93 and 95.
