In a coup, Zoners take control on the draft room for 1st round. YOU are the man nominated to be the final decision maker. With the bloody handprints of the Elliott, Wentz and Treadwell fans still on the board, the group decides that Myles Jack and Ramsey are to be our 1A and 1B choices.
The draft falls with Tunsil at 1, Goff at 2 and Bosa 3. We are up and Chip Kelly at pick 7 calls and wants his QB, offering 49ers 1st and 3rd for us to trade with him.
Given the blue chip status of Jack and Ramsey and filling some of our biggest needs, do you make the trade or stay put and take the "sure" thing.

First and second round Chip and you got a deal.

If you believe the trade value point system, they are giving up a little to move up with a second only, but it is in line with what some trades have boiled down to.

A third, that is simply not enough.

2nd rounder seems to make it too easy for everyone to jump on this. A bit surprising since it risk losing two blue chippers. What if trade amended to swap of firsts and SF third and fourth round picks?

First you have to believe we would be missing out on a blue chipper. I personally think you can get the same quality player at 4 that you can at 7 with the exception of maybe the top 3 QBs . Knowing that we had an extra high second rounder, i would like our chances of getting two immediate contributors if not starters, plus the flexibility to gamble on a QB at the top of the second.

What did we do in FA? Need that info. so that I can properly evaluate "my team" and what it needs to take it to the next level.

ie. if we signed Berry from KC. Ramsey would not be a choice, as I think he will be a better FS than CB.

As others have said.

It would have to be for the 2nd round pick not the third.

The third round pick is closer to the actual value although still short and if someone wants to move up into the top 5 they have to pay and by pay that normally means over pay.

It's Chip Kelly...

I ask for their first and Carlos Hyde.

We are talking about these trades in hypotheticals but keep in mind that I don't think Kelly has the same power he had in Philly.

I say this because with what he did in Philly this past season (and tried to due to get up to get Mariota in the draft) it would give us a history that he is willing to wheel and deal.

However My guess is with the 49ers losing so many LBs and good players over the last few years...it would be smarter for the 49ers to trade down and gather more picks instead of trying to lose picks by trading up.

Oh I know, I wasn't being serious at all.

JAck and Ramsey aren't good enough for me to stay at 4.

Personally i'd take Wentz and look forward to our bright future but if the Cowboys don't want to go that route then we need to start trading back and acquiring picks.

Not for their first and a third. But I do think Jack could still be available at SF's spot at #7. And truthfully, I want no part of Ramsey in the top 10 so having him go 5th or 6th to the Jags or Ravens would be fine.

Also, if the 49ers moved up I think they'd want Goff if he were available in a case where Wentz went to the Browns. Not sure they would move up for Wentz if Goff was off the board like this hypothetical has happening.

So if "Zoners" take over the War Room, all I want to know is who sits next to the decision maker's daughter and hits on her and who sits behind the decision makers in Spaulding's chair and plots their inevitable takeover?

I don't think you sit next to her and hit on her...if the war cams are any indication...she sit's next to you and hits on you. Which is not a bad thing. However...you still have spaulding sitting behind you.
