Cowboys had a lot of starters playing the first month and they looked awful
Two starting defensive ends and two top cornerbacks and the top defensive starter, Parsons shortly in. That just might have affected the box area and secondary, think?

Sure did but what do you think of the Saints and Baltimore games?

Tough sell

If you saw the owner say ALL IN and don't make moves to make this team better, I'd stay out as long as I could as well. Some of these players I guarantee if we were doing better, they'd push to get back on the field.
I doubt this is the reality. Players trying to advance their career aren't going to take a chance by not playing. That makes no sense.

Why try to get seen in a season you feel isn't worth getting hurt over. You want to risk getting hurt even further not to get your bag?

Think like a player. The more snaps you get contribute to your resume. Especially players coming up on the end of their contracts. "Faking" injuries would lower your value tremendously.

Detroit is quite banged up on defense as the IR list shows but they have been pretty healthy on offense. Their ability to score points on offense wins them some games where their defense cannot hold the opposition. Last night is a good example.

Injuries are an excuse, and not just in Dallas. Many talking heads have used injuries as an excuse for San Francisco. Also, every team has injuries, but the volume of injuries is the problem for teams like Dallas, Cleveland and SF.

The Cowboys injuries have been all over the place but started with Sam Williams in the offseason. Their 2 starting CBs have not yet played a game together this year. They have have injuries on the OL, WR, QB, TE, DE, LB, S, and CB. No one has that kind of quality depth to overcomes that much disruption.

But the truth is, the Cowboys were weak on the defensive line and at RB and WR before the injuries. The injuries just made it that much worse. Dallas had to sign Joseph and Watkins at DT at the beginning of the season just to have a rotation. Injuries hurt but they hurt a lot more when the team is unprepared to start the season.

Are you sure? I don't recall us having significant injuries.
Nope. He made that up (What do research mean, @America's Cowboy? Lol). Dallas was fine that game. It was Green Bay that didn't have Jordy Nelson who caught 97 balls that year (5th in the league) and were using WR Ty Montgomery as their RB. First link below has the injury report at the bottom. Everyone on the Cowboys' list played including Tyron Smith playing 100% of offensive snaps. Four Packers on their list didn't play. Second and third links show you who was out or on IR during that game (and the whole season). Packers were without big names Nelson and Eddie Lacy. The Cowboys didn't have Jaylon Smith and La'el Collins. The fourth link is the game's boxscore where you can see who played and how much, etc. All the Cowboys big names were there.

Jaylon Smith and La'el Collins were starters. You think not having them available was not important? So you give excuses for the Packers but none for the Cowboys? What team's fan are you truly a fan of?

Ever notice no one on the chiefs ever get hurt? Losing Pacheco this season is the only injury I can remember to anyone on their roster that matters in like the last 5 years.
rashee rice, hollywood brown. they lose guys to injury pretty frequently, it's just no one cares lol. most notably though was their linemen in the sb loss to tampa

Their O line had been decimated by the time the SB came around. And the TB D line was the best in football at that time.
as great as he is, not even Mahomes could overcome that.
