It had been a long miserable offseason filled with all kinds of O-line and Secondary debate.


I think a lot of us had a feeling that something just feels different this year and it showed on the field tonight.


Clean up these penalties and this team is going to be tough.

For at least the next 11 days, I can watch sports coverage and highlights and not cringe.

Food will taste better.

I can breathe in the Houston smog better.

Even with the many hiccups, it was a good win. Because last year, those hiccups would've costed the 'boys the game.

So happy we were able to get this win. They need to keep proving the critics wrong. Most importantly, we finished this game tonight and stepped on their throats when it mattered.

I'm not willing to go that far, but I did feel the Cowboys were playing a lot more focused and lost mistake-filled than before.

The Cowboyszone seems to have a different feel to it this year (at least since the last few weeks of preseason). I don't know if the pessimists got banned, or if everything in preseason went so well that they piped down.

But all I know is that the last couple of weeks I haven't seen much in the way of negative vibes. To the point that I was kinda feeling good about tonight's game going into it, even if I didn't have much objective reason to think we could take down the defending Super Bowl Champs on the road.
