I'm not so sure about that I don't think he could have coming straight out of college but he might be able to now

With the SOLB needing to be able to stuff the run, that is carter's weakness.

He has the speed to cover and blitz but doesn't have the size at 230 pounds.
He needs about 20-30 pounds of bulk

please inform me how Carter will be a SOLB in a 3-4 at 230 pounds and his weakness vs the run

He would definitely have to bulk up to do it, but I could see it happening. I would prefer though to draft Hightower and move him to SOLB.

He's definitely not 230. I'd say he's about 240-250 and could add to that if this is what they are thinking.

Yeah I heard tell his frame could add some weight if needed

I gave up my 2 2nd round picks, my 4th and next years 4th for the 17th pick and the Bengals this years 3rd

yeah Jon Jon and I worked on it this morning, we wanted to make it a fair deal. I hated giving up both 2nd giving them 3 2nds now but I need a ILB.
I do have 2 3rds now so I may be able to package thos to move back into the 2nd. If anyone is interested.

Well, he isn't 230 pounds to start with. He's 254 range.

Eagles still win that trade in my opinion. I would've asked for next year's 3rd, especially when moving up in the middle of the 1st.

Great trade though, nice creativity.

Cinci needs oline and this draft has some very good ones to be had in the 2nd rnd...it makes lots of sense and helps both teams bunches...I hate it:D

Zaxor, are you interested in taking over a team if we have one available in the 2nd round?

Yeah I thought about getting that 3rd instead. I just wasn't sure how future draft point values are calculated in terms of the current year, so I tried to get it as even as possible.

I am here if needed but I am not very prepared as I had no team to study and all I have is just general knowledge of what the team might need.

i think the Bengals made out better because they have more needs and now ammo to fill them. Both teams did well though. Still and Kuechly is sick.

I think it is a trade cinci would make as they avoid paying first rnd money and still get good/great talent

You'll do fine. I'll keep you posted. If a few of these no shows aren't around in the 2nd round either, you got the team.

I debated Mike Adams to the chargers or the WR out of Notre Dame whose name I forget at the moment...I might have went the WR route but Adams is a great pick

Eagles would get 1120 in points (950, 170)
Bengals would get 1018 (440, 390, 104, 84 (median score for 4th rounders)

If it was a median '13 third rounder, it would've been 180-190 points, which would've made it 1120 to 1115-1125.

I think it's a great trade, both teams get what they wanted. Those are just the point values.
