Cowboyszone Report Card... Kyle Kosier...GPA = 2.55

B.

Versatile and dependable when healthy. Not quite as powerful as a team would like, but he has good technique, is quick and can pull. Not dominant, but more steady and consistent than most of our O-linemen. Ability to stay healthy is a bit of a concern.

He's all right. Not great, but all right.

If he was healthy I would of gave him a A.

People just dont seem to realize how important this guy was to the offensive line and how greatly their play improved with him in the lineup.

B. Mostly reliable but got beat pretty bad a few times as well (nothing like against Minnesota in the playoffs tho).

I agree.

He's been our best Olineman when healthy. Unfortunately, at his age, that's only going to get worse.

Even when our grades have not agreed, I have really enjoyed reading your report card post about the grades. They stay about football. Really refreshing.

I'll give him a B because, really, unless I;m wrong, I never hear much about him in a game, and that's a good thing, IMO. With him and Free watching the QB's blindside, they did somewhat pretty good.

Plus, he just remindes me of some big, strong, nasty looking truck driver instead of a football player.
;)

But, the Cowboys better have some plans in place for him...he's getting a little older.

The left side of the offensive line is done. Now, Andre Gurode  Leonard Davis :( and Marc Colombo  are all within reach. Finally! :eek:hboy:

Kind of torn between "B" and "C" for Kosier.

For guidance, I'll wait until Ice Cream Is Tasty weighs in.

F is the lowest grade available ...

If that is the case, then just suspend that bastid! Where I went to school, you had to maintain at least a friggen D, otherwise they would suspend you for lack of brain cells!

By the way, whose brilliant idea was it to bring this fool in?

Fire that clown, too!

(by the way, I watched the first Commander game today on the NFL channel...that dude made me sick, all over again)!!

I gave Kyle a B. He was slightly above average. He was also coming off injury from camp, so I think he'll be better this year as long as age doesn't catch up to him.

He can, and he does well.

Now, Leonard Davis on the other hand....

You may as well burn that DVD copy of the game. If its on your DVR, burn it too.

Should your cable/Directv/Dish Network provider ask you what happened to the DVR, tell 'em the dog ate it. If that excuse doesn't fly, tell 'em the Commanders game was on it. Trust me. They'll understand. :)

C. Very average season this year, and that makes him a solid performer on this line. He is far too injury prone to be back as a starter. I think he will be back anyway, but hopefully as a reserve.

Wow, pretty much dead even at this point 48% for B, 50% for C, with 50 votes in. That seems about right to me. I think he gets a C+ in my book. Its strange when you look at these guys individually they do not seem nearly as bad as they do when you look at them as a whole. Maybe thats just me though.
