Cowboys Nation: Tyron Smith's pro day is today. I've heard some talk that he's closer to 315? [Smith was 310 at yesterday's weigh in.] What have you heard?
Wes Bunting: I talked to a director of scouting this week and he said in his mind Smith is far and away the best tackle in his class. His team has Smith rated this way. I've had a lot of rave reviews back. A lot of teams really like the guy. I asked the personnel guy to compare him to Nate Solder, who was talked about as the most athletic OT early on and he thinks Smith is far and away more athletic than Nate Solder.
CN: Here's a follow up on offensive tackle preparedness. You have a top tier of OT prospects, with Smith, Carimi, Sherrod, Anthony Castonzo and Ben Ijalana. You have Nate Solder rated a little lower than most. You just said you felt Carimi and Sherrod were the most NFL-ready, but you have Smith rated the highest...
