Just once I'd like to come in here after a loss and find out important information. For example, what is up with the Jones and Nagy injuries.

Instead I get a bunch of whining and armchair analysis from folks who think they are so much better at coaching than whoever our HC is at the time.

We lost to a very good team at home. We battled. We came up short. It sucks but it doesn't mean that, as a team, we suck.

As of right now, all it means to me is that we are good enough to hang with the big boys but always seem to find a way to lose.

So we have alot of work to do yet.

People are pissed not because of the loss, buy how we are losing.

We have a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter...............and lose

We have a 27-3 lead in the 3rd quarter..................and lose

We get 4 turnovers on defense .....................and lose.

We hold the #1 ranked offense in the league to 20 points......and lose.

We dont even try to get a first down to seal the game...........and lose.

See, we are not losing games........we are giving games away. That is why everybody is so freaking ticked off right now because we just piss away game after game after game.

+1. The immaturity is ruining CZ for me, because I can't say what I'm really thinking about other posters for two days, minimum, after each loss.

Are you an adolescent, that this seems like reasonable behavior? It's childishness.

What must be going on in those game day threads?

Another one of the fools.. how dare people be upset after a game, right?

lol

BTW.. before you speak on people's maturity levels, you may want to learn the english language.

Childishness?

Another thread where people just don't seem to get it. Nice post.

The point is: how dare they act like simpering girlscouts just because they're upset. This nuance should not have escaped even you, RTH.

And 'childishness' is a word. It's a noun-form of the word 'childish.'

Yup. 3 winnable games and instead we get two historically notable losses and a third game of questionable play calling after two weeks to prepare for the game.

Sorry folks but at 2-3 there's going to be an outcry no matter how much you don't want to see it.

Neither of those losses was historically notable, and the play calling in *any* game is 'questionable', Saltwater. At the end of the day, we lost to two teams that were better than we are and a third team, at home, who's in the same category.

Everybody here *should* have expected a loss in NE. I'm glad we're playing well and are competitive. There's a ton of football left to be played.

They were historically notable as we blew a lead of 14 points in the fourth quarter, which we never had done in franchise history, and then followed it up by blowing the biggest lead in franchise history. You can't deny historical significance when you set such records for a franchise and do it within a 4 week time span.

We gave two teams a win. That doesn't make them better than us, that makes us incredibly inept giving the circumstances in which those losses occurred. We gave the Jets one of their two wins. We gave the Lions 14 free points.

The play calling in any game is questionable? Sorry, that's not going to cut it today especially when someone like AdamJT13 is pointing out how our red zone and inside-the-ten plays looked. Not when we were one first down from running that clock down to nothing and ran it right into the teeth of a run blitz on back to back plays. Not when the GM/President/Owner is questioning the conservative nature of it.

Just because something hadn't been done before, it doesn't mean it's significant. You throw two pick-sixes in a game, you're almost always going to lose it. The timing of when the lead was blown is mostly important because it relates to how disappointed the fans were; otherwise, it doesn't reflect on the quality of the team all that much one way or another.

We'll just have to agree to disagree here. I think the Pats and Lions are both, pretty clearly, better than we are right now. And I don't think we 'gave' the Lions anything. Romo's first pick was a boneheaded throw. The second pick-six was an outstanding defensive play.

I haven't seen Adam's posts, so I can't comment on them. We put the game in the hands of the defense and the running game today. I'm the last person to be surprised with where that got us, but it's still superior in my book to putting it all in Romo's hands again and not getting it. Personally, I think Tony Romo is a very, very good QB, but even I recognize that he can't keep trying and failing and still have the support of the rest of the team. At some point, some day, someone else is going to have to step up and start making game-winning plays. Spencer pulled one off in Washington. The defense wasn't able to do it today and we lost a close one in New England. It happens.

I agree with you that throwing two pick six td's is almost always a recipe for disaster, however it's magnified when you are up by a sizable margin late in the game and have no reason to throw the ball, especially knowing the gunslinger mentality of your QB.

Hopefully something that can be overcome though. :(

I'm not defending the calls; Romo blew that game with poor decision making, and Garrett needs to put constraints around what happens in those situations.

I'm with ya. Imagine if we can get these guys on the same page, and a decent o-line. It's scary how good I think this team could be. Sometimes I feel like it just happens a little too fast for them.

Pointing out the obvious = whining.....to clueless homers who think the Cowboys are a SB contender this year.

I wonder if Cotton Candy arm has anything to do with our RZ play? I am pretty sure he historically ranks in the 20s in RZ efficiency. Last time I looked anyway.

No one is afraid of OhNo in a short field. Just sit back and wait for an egg toss throw and defend it. Its been happening for years.

It's significant because multiple sources and people have found it sufficiently important to mention.

Scipio, I *know* you're smart enough to anticipate my response to this, so I'm not even going to bother making it. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

A few concerns:

1. Why cant we use a gif for a sig"?
2. Why r there so many mods? Its just a messageboard.lol.
3. Whats with the g-rated everything?

just curiousity.

I don't know if this team will ever stop letting us down.

They didn't let me down. I thought it was a 9-7, maybe 10-6, team and that we would probably lose to New England but put up a good fight and probably cover the spread. We're still well on track or 9-7 or 10-6, we put up a good fight and covered the spread.

The clueless homers are the ones who have their panties in a knot that we lost to the Patriots on the road.
