Cowher just said pressure is squarely on Romo's shoulders: not Eli's. He also said "look at Romo's record since T-giving game last year." Said Giants will run on us with Droughns and Jacobs(doubtful) and then Sharpe and Esiason all picked the Giants to win. God I'm sick of these idiots. Play the friggin' game already. BTW: Bradshaw said on Fox Romo will be a "superstar" and get paid.
..who knows.
I think he's got some clear ideas about it.
Maybe wrong ideas..but.
The pressure is on Romo to deliver. There isn't going to be a lot of forgiveness this year if he starts to fold like last year.
If he can't handle it, Brad Johnson will be right in there to steady the ship.
As much is I want Romo to succeed for us..I'm a realist.
Brad Johnson, if he has to come in..has the sort of offensive mentality to make the offense work..as long as there is a running game and play action passing works.
He can make the short and intermediate throws which is the staple of the passing game and will make a lot fewer mistakes with the ball than Romo.
Hope it doesn't come to that..but if it does..I hope we don't stay with Romo for too long if he can't get it done.
We'll see.
