If Cowher takes the Jets thats fine.

He has alot of missing pieces there though.

The smart move would be Dallas. The table is set. The meal just aint coming out right is all.

:lmao: Good analogy when it comes to head coaches. At least he'll get to buy the groceries in New York.

It would be great news if Cowher was simply willing to talk to somebody.

It shows that he is interested in getting back into coaching.

Maybe upon hearing the news, Jerry would wise up and talk with him.

One can dream...

I believe Jerry is waiting for Holmgren next season.

maybe jerry will panic and get a sense of urgency when legit coaches start interviewing with other futile clubs. combine this with terrible fan reaction... maybe some calls cancelling tix and jerry makes an actual sensible football decision.

If I were Cowher I'd stay far, far away from Dallas. Unless there's a miracle and Jerry resigns as GM.

Jerry needs to warm up that "Jet" airplane and meet up with Cowher in Jersey.

God, I hope not. Not another burned out HC.

His offense and his defense reeked this season. Can't use injuries as an excuse if you want to can Wade.

ALL thier receivers and Hasselbeck were hurt. It's a little bit different than our situation.

I think we as fans sometimes get too consumed with "talent" when looking at the potential attractiveness of a situation through a coaches' eyes. You saw this season with teams like Atlanta and Miami that talent is far less important than a strong scheme and a cast full of hard workers that are able to execute that scheme.

Sure, Cowher would think he could bring a strong scheme anywhere, and I know it'd be nice to have more talented workers ready to execute it. But since Parcells' retirement, Jerry has been much more meddlesome again, and I'm not sure that appeals to a strong-willed coach like Cowher. Plus, our "talent" is largely a group of whiny, me-first crybabies who don't know how to win, are just as interested (if not more) in the statistics and limelight as they are winning, and have shown the propensity to try to get their coaches fired.

Talented? Sure. But appealing? I'm not so sure.

He said on national TV that owens would be the first to go if Dallas wanted to turn things around. Oh the humanity of it all.

If thats the case then so be it.

BUT... we all know how things change once you are on the other side of the fence.

"Well... TO is different that I thought" etc.... ala Bill couldnt work for Jerry.... remember??
