Because Dallas won! I'm sure it will be downgraded by the "Experts" in some manner and we will have to hear it again vs. the next "great" team that they play. Great victory tonight, I am going to sleep well!

Yep. I'm just waiting for them, and some of the Romo haters here, to come along and say this wasn't really all that big a game.

I hope it isn't. I'm liking the Cowboys playing the underdog. Its good for a change to be in that role.

'EXPERTS"........people on this board will downplay it as just another game....it's only a big game when we lose and Romo doesn't throw for 300 yards and no picks.

Wait for the "it was just November" or "lets wait until December" responses... should be fun.

Reid's gonna get hammered for going for that field goal. I was very happy that he did.

Let's see...Westbrook didn't play and Peters and Samuel got hurt. In a week, the pundits will be using that to discredit the win.

This certainly was a big game -- just not the "must-win" that some people built it up as. To me, win or lose, this was more of a gut check game for me. I wanted to see grit and the notion that last season's 44-6 loss still resonated with this team. If we lost, so be it, but I wanted supreme effort.

We got it -- and in a win. And in a win in which we seemed to escape relatively injury free and continued to show the gradual progress into becoming a consistent, disciplined, focused and talented football team.

To be honest, I think we are going to see the pendulum swing to the over hyped again.

They've already started that in several other threads. It must suck to not be able to enjoy a big win.

TAKE BACK YOUR MAN! I believe Irvin said that. We most certainly did.

Pretty sad really. Sucks the joy right out of being a fan.

So far, all I've seen of the game analyses is that this was a very good win for the 'boys.

I don't think the pendulum will swing too far the other way as I think most are waiting until December.

But, in general, they acknowledge this was a good win...and they noted the team seems to be coming together.

Rich Eisen cracked me up with his translation of Romo's typical QB-speak post game comments.

yea, all of a sudden, the Eagles won't be considered a good team and they'll say "Dallas still hasn't beaten anybody good..."

and so it goes.

6-2 is 6-2. Period. And really... it's REAL close to 8-0 if you look closely at the 2 losses.

Wow, hard to believe there are those who can't see what a huge win this was. We had good coaching, young players stepping up, good defense, good offense from a whole bunch of contributing players, and we did it on the road in Philly against the Eagles who had the same record as we did at the beginning of the game.

It just doesn't get any better.
