played a real good game with more snaps. I seen he had a couple pressures. He was all over freeman sunday. I can't wait to see him next year after he learns more passrush and technique work. I hope him and wilber turn out to be players for us on the front 7. We need more passrush and I think they can provide it. Well atleast crawford has shown so far. Still waiting on wilber to get some work on defense.

I bet his snaps ramp up this year. So far, his trajectory looks really good to me.

He really did play well yesterday. I was impressed.

We have some nice young DL in Hatcher, Lissemore, Crawford, and Brent.

That's some pretty good DL and I often scratch my head when people say we need to address BOTH lines.

We are just fine on defense.

D line is good;)

Yes he certainly caught my eye yesterday. He did very well I thought. His #workk has absolutely let him #EarnThatStar :)

I was going to start a thread about this. He definitely looked active. Nice to see him contributing this early in the season. He has the potential to be very good. Good measurables and high motor. He's fairly new to football and should develop into a real contributor.

hatchers like 30 yo

There is way to much positiveness in this thread. I'm going to have to ask you guys to tone it down. ;)

How could any of our defensive front 7 have a good game? Don't you guys know that the Bucs have a $50 million dollar guard? That means they automatically get 6 yards a carry and Josh Freeman never gets touched.

speaking of dl. i thought it well past time to high five marcus spears for yesterday. that dude made a beast mode run play on a short yardage play where he beat 2 guys!!.

this after he wasnt supposed to play.

that was a jay ratliff type play. he blew past one guy and threw the other to the side and made a play in the backfield.

btw, how good can this dl be when ratliff gets back?

the nice thing about needing an ol upgrade is doug free can be replaced easily at his salary if cut.

I agree. Spears had a real good game.

I believe the Cowboys should have Jason Hatcher and Tyson Crawford out there alot that pass-rush look sick.

Still going to take while for me not to remember the CZ  reaction to his name being called.

By mid-season he should be in a role similar to how Lissemore was used last year. He's got some swag, and he's a nice change-of-pace role player right now. He will only improve from here on out, and may very well be competing for a starting spot by next season. That is how optimistic about this guy.

I know pass rush was an issue, but Brandon Mosley would have been a nice pick instead of Wilbur. AND

Ben Jones from Georgia would have been my Crawford pick.

---------------------------------

NYG lost their starting tackle and gave up 0 sacks....... we lost nobody and our QB was killed by the same DLine.
