Was it just me or did it look like Crayton was much more patient on his returns yesterday.

He actually looked like he slowed it down and was setting up his blocks much better then I have ever seen him do.

Still makes me nervious on not locking up the ball when getting hit.

But for the first time it appeared to me he was setting up his blocking.

He did a good job yesterday,, but if he does not secure the ball .. He will fumble it sooner or later..

Hopefully it want be a mistake that could cost us a game

ya he is doing much better, but he still looks like he is a risk to fumble everytime. he needs to control the ball better.

He runs to high and one day is gonna get crushed, and that ball is going to come flying out.

He does the same thing after a catch, does not seem to lock the ball up pre contact.

He needs to correct this, but I did see him using his blocking much better yesterday.

I guess he had a lot of practice, getting 7 punts in one game.

I like what he does in space but like everyone else has stated, he needs to secure the ball. Same goes with Tyson.

He just reminds me of a young kid playing football. He's just carefree out there like it's some playground or school yard somewhere. It scares me, but it makes me laugh too...until he fumbles.

Yep. He needs to get lower. That's make him smaller and harder to hit too.

not put at PR to take one all the way imo
Bill Parcells is so anal about careless turnovers that he put his best hands guy back there so there won't be any muffed punts
this is just my opinion

he'll take a fair catch or 7 yard return everytime rather than even risk the PR dropping the ball like we've seen so many times the past few years
Crayton did do well yesterday though

Yeah, I think Parcells wants someone who will fearlessly catch the ball, not let it bounce for extra yardage. Good hands so it doesnt get muffed. Smart enough to know when to do each part of the play. Your kick off returner doesn't have to make nearly as many adjustments and decisions.

He looked like a different guy yesterday. Not waiting 60 yards downfield so it could bounce. Catching it and going decisively upfield. He does run too upright and he doesn't secure it well but yesterday was a quontum leap forward on punt retuning for PC.
