Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could provide an update on the number of catches Patrick Crayton had with San Diego and what draft pick we can expect in the next draft in return?

Many thanks!

I think he needs 10 catches this week.

He needed 40 catches or more to get to a 6th round pick. Needs 12 this week to reach 40.

I think the stipulation was 40 catches to move the pick up.

Currently he has 28.

So that would mean he has to get 12 catches in this last game.

In other words, sadly, it looks like that will not be met.

Crayton gonna blow it up today after all the Chargers WR's go down with cramps

Okay--so it looks like we get a 7th round pick--unless Patrick C. has a big day today (12 catches = pretty unlikely).

thanks!

It's a lock we get a 7th now, Crayton is inactive.

Sad thing is that he was on pace to easily get 40 catches until he got hurt. God forbid we got something higher than a 7th in a trade.

Hurt or smart move by San Diego?

Regardless, he was the bust in San Diego we knew he was going to be.

The guy had a seriously screwed up wrist. Stop fishing for conspiracy.

Exactly how many Chargers games did you watch ?

The Chargers would have LOVED to give up a 6th round pick in return for a healthy Crayton all this time. He was arguably THE best wide receiver they had healthy at the time he broke his wrist and he was developing a terrific rapport with Rivers. A much better rapport than Floyd or Nennu have even though they've been with Rivers their entire career.

When he was traded, I predicted he was going to get those 40 catches by no later than the 10th game of the season. He was on pace to break that prediction by a couple of games when he went down.
