Should we sit them this game?

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said that there wasn't much to report on the injury front, but that CB Terence Newman and WR Patrick Crayton were being checked out before getting started on Eagles week.

Phillips wouldn't tell us whether or not it was a case of old injuries (Crayton's ankle/Newman's foot and knee) cropping up. But we did see Newman with his right leg pretty heavily wrapped, with wires all around it, during the locker room period.

We'll update on these guys as we find out more.

Only if the Packers and Seahawks plan on taking the rest of the season off. We still have many reasons to win this week.

Win two more, pull all starters in Washington, practice in pads during bye week.

i heard Romo was coughing on the flight back to Dallas. should we sit him?

Let's lock up homefield before worrying about who gets rested.

Really. Why sit anyone now when we still have HFA to play for?

The "heavily wrapped" thing with "wires around it"--did you guys see the Akin Ayodele video on NFL.com from last week? That sounds like the treatment that Akin was getting done on his knee that they showed in the video.

Choking on Underwood's underpants!!!

we should only sit Craytone when his finger is messed up......that is the only time he seems to drop passes.

If playing either one of them risks their season I would sit them for sure.

Did he have his head turned when he coughed? If so, then it probably was just a routine cough.

Unless players are injured and their play seriously affected, or if they risk further injury, or unless that one week off is going to be a cure for injury, then we should never give players a week off.

We should play to win every game and keep that invincibility and confidence high going into the playoff. I think history has proven that it's foolish to rest star players or protect them by sitting them the final week even.

If we get the bye, everyone gets a week off anyway, so play your best players every week unless they risk further injury or unless trainers say they'll come back at 100% because of the rest.

I agree.

We saw how lazy the D played at Detroit...after a 10 day layoff.

ya I heard that Julius Jones was sucking it up should we sit him for good?

I would sit Colombo and let his ankle fully heal. Give McQ a shot and see how he does. We need to know about him anyway.

This is no time to rest. Dallas has to put the hammer down and take care of business. Once we get things wrapped up then the staff may choose to rest players but until it is a done deal you keep playing if you can.
