Assuming one of them is gone...who do you send to Greyhound?

Send Hurd Packing, not getting a draft pick for him, Trade Crayton for a seventh rounder, probably to St Louis and Olgetree is your four receiver, Holley your fifth receiver..I think Dallas keeps only five receivers..

Why in hell would anyone not pick Hurd here? He is clearly the least effective WR of the three. :bang2:

I actually think Ogletree is right now, but I also tink he will put it back together.

I think we can get something for Crayton. I'm a greedy draft *****.

A man must know his limitations :laugh1:

I chose Ogletree.

Upside doesn't matter to me at this point.

We need experience and production NOW.

here is the problem... will this guy be active on game day?

If so it will be as special team player...

If Crayton lost his punt return job than he is of no use to us so he is not active on the game day roster.

were as Hurd and Ogletree cover punts and kicks so they could be active on gameday

so than it comes down to which is the best WR out of the 2 I think they are about the same right now but the ceiling for Ogletree seems to be higher so I would keep Ogletree

I agree, he's struggling this preseason, but the upside is there. In 4 years you know what Hurd does and doesn't give you.

I would not trade Crayton, and cutting him would be absolutely, cluelessly moronic. At this point, he's the most proven, reliable receiver the team has, 'yeah, let's cut him'!

I have a lot more confidence in Hurd right now to step in a game and contribute than I do Ogletree.

He lead all receivers last night with six receptions for 51 yards.

My issue with trading Crayton is this. He has the best hands making him your best 3rd WR. (as long as Dez pans out) he is your 3rd best WR on the team and is a proven effective WR. On top of it all, he is a very good punt returner. This IMO puts him above Ogletree and Hurd isn't even debatable.

Now, if we go into the season, we don't need Crayton if Dez, Roy, Ogletree, and Austin are healthy. The issue comes if Austin or Dez get injured. I like having Crayton as a punt returner and a WR security blanket.

If we were to get something for Crayton, it would IMO need to be at least a 3rd pick or a experienced positional player were we need depth. (nickel backer, offensive line)

I chose Ogletree as well but not for the same reason. Hurd is the more versatile player and a bit more seasoned.. Ogletree is very 1 dimensional in that he really only exceeds at the WR position

We need guys who add value to special teams (Hurd) and can come in on situational downs and be an effective passing threat (Hurd)

You can't cut Ogletree, PERIOD.
Cut Roy Williams.

Actually, I wouldn't be completely against cutting Roy. Sort of on the fence about it.

Hurd is the one, two mill for a special teams player is too muc
h, but if money is the bissue get rid of roy, he just does not seem to get and don't think he will be a good guy on the bench as the third receiver

Hurd will never see time in situational passing downs, This team will be loaded with rookie and first year players to play special teams, at a chaeper rate.. Hurd is a special teams player ONLY, Olgetree can play both Special teams and add speed at the receiver position.

 he already has in the last 2 seasons, and proven he can be effective. not sure what you're basing this on

cheaper does not always = better.. and we've all seen what a detriment a lousy special teams unit (particularly kick coverage unit) can be to a team.

Both Hurd and Holley need to be released. Crayton needs to be on this team. You don't cut who is arguably your most consistent wr to save a few dollars.
