I'm hoping Crayton takes his offseason seriously to prepare for next year. Does anyone know if he'll be working with the JUGS machine to take 1200 shots to the face to remember to not talk prior and after games and just do your job?

:laugh2:Crayton has become the goat around here.

Crayton was a huge reason we got where we did this year with Glenn out.

He's a huge reason we got where we are now too.

It also hasn't helped his cause the way he ran his mouth and then came up small.

Well sorry to say but 84 is the first player I've heard Wade throw under the bus.

Consider how TO got ripped last year for the amount of drops.......few of those drops were of Crayton's magnitude.........gotta be fair and balanced...

Crayton w/ a Jugg machine for sure........but need a practice squad SS hitting him after each catch.......Crayton had to be thinking "jacked up" for him to drop that ball........in the middle of the field, late in the play.....
oh ya..........Miles Austin can do the same drill all summer also......

and they might as well have a cattle prod in his jock to remind him not to give up on pass routes during the offseason also..........

What TO dropped that big pass in the game; lets not talk about TO's critical drop against the Commanders last year the game we lost or about several 4th downs at the end of the games like the Giants game he dropped the easy catch :bang2::bang2::bang2:

Crayton caught passes...but he didn't stand out. He had the PRIME opportunity to do it too. With Terrell Owens opposite him and Jason Witten, both of which picked up a lot of attention from offenses, Crayton had a chance to be *THE* Go-To guy. Instead he was a #3 WR who got lucky and just happened to be the #2 WR for most of the season.

He didn't take advantage of his opportunity IMO.

If we could wire his jaw shut every season, I have no problems with Crayton.
owens dropped a few last weekend too. His ankle was hurt this game, not his fingers.

Crayton's offseason program:
  • Eat his Wheaties.
  • Take his vitamins.
  • Say his prayers.
  • And shut his mouth.

At some point you guys are going to have to get past what occurred on Sunday.

As I stated earlier, nobody wanted to catch that game winning pass more than Patrick Crayton did.

Based on his interview on The Playmakers, nobody on this forum really knows what route he was suppose to run.

Personally, I think this club has way bigger problems than Patrick Crayton.

On a side note: How long until somebody flames Patrick Crayton's wiki page about how he sucks and should keep his mouth shut :laugh2: ?

The game was an aberration as a whole, that is why I don't even single out Patrick Crayton.

The guy catches passes all the time, and has one of the surest hands on the team. I don't remember him ever bobbling a punt, and he did it in that wild streak of drops.

So do I.......................We're far from "well oiled".

Crayton is a great slot reciever, he works hard and he is dedicated.

But he decided to play in all honesty his worst game of the season this past sunday. We messed up alot, but the game could have been much different if Crayton had caught that huge play by Romo on third down. That was a drive killer, besides the fact that they would have been in field goal range.

I hope Patrick "Best Hands On The Team" Crayton's offseason will consist of a careful analysis of the world's finest hand glues and epoxies.

Did you see where he quit? That is inexcusable. Yeah Im pissed he dropped the ball but everyone drops it, fine im over that. But him quitting is not something I am going to get over anytime soon. Who cares what else he has done...he is now a quitter.

Agreed. He's a good, solid player and person as well. He just needs to not run his mouth. Or if he does, back it up.
