She's far more patient than I would have been with that thing. I would have soaked his *** to the point of drowning.

I had a neighbor call me one time around Midnight. Her cat freaked out and wouldn't let her out of the house. She was scared stiff. I got dressed and went over and something was very wrong with that cat. I had been there before and she was very sweet. This cat was acting almost evil.

I threw a big comforter over the cat and trapped it with a laundry basket. I then slid a piece of cardboard under so we could pick her up.

We took her to the vet and they were scared stiff of her. They had no idea what set that cat off. They actually had to put her down.

Lisa is still scared out of her mind about cats. I doubt she will ever get over that night. Her Dad was a retired Army Colonel and he called me to thank me because she had called her Dad in Texas wanting to know what to do.

I'll never forget it. If she had not been so insistent on getting the cat to the Vet I would have killed her. She was that screwed up.

My cat gets like that every once in a while. Not quite that bad but every once in a while he is in a bad mood and he will literally stalk me, every time I take a step or two he will attack my leg. He gets really stubborn about it. I cant help but laugh but that only lasts a few minutes cause his claws are so dang sharp. He is pretty well trained so if I snap my fingers at him a few times he will usually take off.

Buddy of mine had an ******* cat that wouldn't let anyone in the house. He was declawed in the front so he would jump at you like a Raptor or something and try to scratch you with his hind claws.

Hated that thing. Don't really care much for cats. Too indifferent to attention to be a worthwhile pet. Sit there and try to get a cats attention for just about ever only to have him stare and look disinterested.

that was hilarious, i loved the other cat who couldn't seem to make its mind up what to do. couple of times it steps between the cat and woman but on the whole its just trotting along behind the other not wanting to miss out on the excitement

I love cats. Mostly because they are independent; try and get a cat to fetch a stick and it will sit there and look at you with such contempt.

I love that.

Paint some eyes on a rock and you basically have the same thing.

i'm with burm on this one. my mum and dads cat is a controlling wee *******, he comes over to get petted when you're sitting down but sits just far enough away so you're stretching to reach him then gradually moves away until you notice you've got out your seat.
definately making sure we take a lease that allows pets when we move through to edinburgh so we can get a cat.

With all the cats I have ever had, which is a considerable number over the years, I have never seen that happen.

Jeez. Lure them into the bathroom or bedroom, quickly exit, then close the door. I guess it didn't help that she had a kid to consider.

Anyone else find it interesting that the parents wired the house with cameras?

Guess they're a little paranoid about their babysitters?

Surveillance and an attack cat. That's one smart set of parents. :laugh2:

I've seen some nasty cats, but I haven't seen that from some dumpy house cat. I'm glad my cat thinks she's a dog, it's much easier having a pet that actually likes you.

If I were the parents, two things would worry me:

1. Why didn't you immediately pick up my child to protect him from the cat?

2. Please don't sue us.

I think the cat was trying to protect the child.

In its Cat brain it got the notion that the girl did something wrong.

Yeah it didn't look like a random freak out attack.

Cat comes in and actually kind of checks out the situation before moving into action.
