Has there ever been a division this tough in the post-cap era?

The last-place team in this division (whoever that may be) may finish 10-6 and miss the playoffs.

Any of these teams would be favored to win the other divisions in the NFC.

It will be funny if we have a 12-4/13-3 second place team at the 8-8 winner of the NFC West (Although considering how well we play on the road it may not matter)

It may provoke changing the playoff structure similarly to what happened in the NBA when the Spurs and Mavericks were by far the best in the West, but due to seeding rules were forcedto meet in the conference semis.

In fact, I'm almost certain it should happen.

AFCE a few years back seemed almost as scary. Back before Chad's second surgery, Ricky's First suspension and Buffalo's Bledsoe era.

I think the Bills finished 8-8 in 2002 for LAST place in the division.

I think this division is better. All four teams are legit NFCCG contenders.

the 2002 AFC East finished:

NYJ 9-7
NE 9-7
MIA 9-7
BUF 8-8

We're more likely to see something along the lines of
1.team a 13-3
2. team b 12-4
3. team c 10-6
4. team d 10-6

and really the finish could be in any order.

Again I think overall this division is better.

Hell last year the NFC East was better than that division slightly.

2007
Dal=Indy
NYG>Jax
WAS= TEN
PHI>Hou.

we have no home field advantage.Infact the turf may be our defense's downfall.Its wont be a bad thing if we dont have home field advantage.

Tenessee was pretty much on the same level as the Skins, regardless of record.

Wayne is their number one. Was last year as well prior to Marvin's injury.

We missed Glenn all year.

So Dal approx= Indy

Someone next week either the Commanders or the Eagles will have 2 Division losses already.
