Kenai woman killed by horse

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- A Ninilchik woman is dead after being attacked by her own stud horse.
The attack occurred in Caribou Hills, according to state troopers, who say Sherrill Yates-Lukinich, 48, was alone at the time of the attack.
Troopers say she was bit several times.
Trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters say the victim's husband put down the horse.
Been around horses all my live. I rodeo'd when I was young. I had a horse sull up on me once in the chute. He completely held his breath and fell over and refused to breath. He turned a color or 2 before he finally breathed. Just odd-ball horse, but nothing like this.
Wow- I just can't imagine a personal horse going nuts-o like this and killing its owner on purpose.
