I am probably going to get slammed for this but I don't care. I was screaming all offseason for us to get a viable back up for Romo. But no we stuck with Old Man River. Now its probably going to bite us in the hind end. There is ONE QB out there I can think of that might help us. That QB is Cullpepper. He has to be a better option than Brad Johnson, Brooks Bollinger or Richard Bartell.

Am I crazy?

Then why couldn't Culpepper find a job? Why is he still at home watching tv on his living your couch 24/7?

It was my understanding he wanted to start. Well here is his chance....At least for a few weeks. Can you honestly tell me Brad Johnson is a better option?

You thin Culpepper can not only get in shape but learn the offense in 1 week?

No I do not. It is a given Johnson will start next week. We don't know how out of shape Cullpepper is. So that might not be a big issue. My thing is we should not be in this position. Johnson should NOT be the only option here. Someone dropped the ball before the season began. Now the team is gonna pay for it.

No one ever bashed for saying Dallas needed to find a better back up than Brad Johnson. They were just bashed for the names thrown around that they felt were better back ups than Brad Johnson. The reality is that there are not a lot of good quarterbacks in the NFL. There were even fewer that were available this past off season that Dallas could have brought to the team.

There were several names thrown around and very few of them were truly better than Brad. They all have limitations so being better that Brad does not mean being good and able to help Dallas over 3 or 4 games.

Right now it is crazy to bring someone in because they won't be able to start any time soon.

Well if the O-line plays like it did in the last game Brad won't make it through the 1st game.

Culpepper sucks..HARD. Always has-the only reason why he succeeded in Minny was b/c Randy Moss was drawing alot of double/triple coverages that made him make his reads alot easier(would have done the same for ANY QB). And 1/2 of his passes were throwing it up to a blanketed Moss anyways. Once Moss left, Culpepper's weaknesses for reading D's were exposed big time.

Ok Ok I get it I am a minority of one......lol

So someone please tell me who we should have gotten before the season. Its too late now I realize that. But even the most optomistic Cowboy fan can not be happy about having BJ as our back up QB

No way. For one, he doesn't know the system at all.
