The #1 guy for this season (Trent Williams) is currently injured and might end up on IR so Zach Martin and Tyron Smith are currently the #1 and #2 ranked active offensive lineman in the entire league with McGovern being #4.

Zach Martin has been bullying the interior of the line and Tyron Smith has had 2 different mid 1st rounders the last 2 games (Brian Burns and Derrek Barnett) and he's made both of them look like college players

Here's Smith reaching borderline center position to block a DT..........

Bill Callahan who??

meet the new OL coach who replaced Columbo

OFFENSIVE LINE
JOE PHILBIN

Experience: 17 YEARS

I felt like after Callahan left the OL got a bit worse each year. Still an amazing amount of talent. Then the last few years injuries were brutal.
But they are as good as ever.

Yep I laughed last off-season when people where saying "cut him" "backs never get better" "trade him" "Jerry keeps his friends past there experation date" "Bellicheck would of traded him for value while where just going to watch him slum away".

Whats funny is when Tyron makes the all-pro team, NFL top 100, and pro bowl this year those same fans wanting him gone will be the first to rush in here and say "he's a HOF caliber player of course he fought through adversity" and "we have the best doctors in the business, of course his back surgery went well"

Someone needs to post #70 entire snaps this season

"I'm a RG......" - I'd say so

When was McGovern blocking on the O-line? I thought the starter was Williams.

He’s played one game at guard when Martin was out
The rest of his blocking has been at FB or basically a TE which he did yesterday

For the last game he had 7 snaps on the line (6 lineman formation) and another 3 snaps as a Fullback. He has over 100 snaps for the season

Thanks guys, I had forgotten about Martin being out.

In other words, our OLine is re-establishing itself as the best in the league.........

If it's me, I'm riding them every game until something happens, like injury or CV coz they are dominating but how long can we keep them together?

After getting beat up last week, Tyler Biadasz deserves some love. A lot of those 1st down runs were right up the middle. Granted his run blocking has always been his strength but when we're getting over nine yards a carry on first down he is part of the reason for success no doubt
