Bledsoe wanted to stay on the field: Parcells said he considered inserting backup quarterback Tony Romo in the third quarter, but said Drew Bledsoe lobbied to stay in the game.

"He didn't seem too inclined to do that," Parcells said of Bledsoe's response.

Bledsoe threw three interceptions, fumbled once and was sacked seven times in Sunday's game. After the game, Romo sounded disappointed he didn't get the opportunity to play.

Instead, the Commanders defense continued to tee off on Bledsoe.

Anyone else think Bledsoe's mind started flashing like this when Parcells mentioned the idea?

I have little doubt that there is something in the back of his mind but whether that was the reason or not is hard to say..Drew is a very competitive guy

I hope not, but if it did, I wouldn't blame him.

We should try to win both remaining games. Even if we lose to Carolina. To that end, unless he is hurt Bledsoe should start both games. Neither Tony Romo nor Drew Henson have earned playing time in close games. If the games are close Bledsoe should take every snap.

When the games are not close there's no excuse not to use Romo and/or Henson. They could have rotated series the entire 2nd half yesterday. I seriously doubt either of them would have brought us back and if one of them did, so much the better.

Damn good point you bring up Hostile--28-0, it would not have hurt anything to have seen our young QB's get some valuable playing time.

It would also help Jeff Ireland evaluate the QB's on the roster so he can tell if the QB's in the draft can out perform the QB's on the current roster!

A point too often overlooked.

You guys better tell Mickey that.

He was just on the Ranch Report claiming that Romo would not have gained anything by coming in.
