Yeah that blew me away when I first heard it. Lyrics, vocals, guitar, everything about it. It's from Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk, released after he died.

When I was about 16 we had a band and we named it Blood Witch and our first song was called Blood Witch. We got the name from a street behind Everman High School. We were cruising around back there and someone noticed the street name as we turned onto it. We were looking for a band name at the time and it stuck.
