Creating Pressure

I feel like the biggest change since Dak and Zeke’s rookie and sophomore seasons has been on the defensive side of the field & the fact that they haven’t created hardly any pressure in over 2 years. With all the moves that they made to improve this Dline in the offseason; imo it’s been the biggest let down so far. I think we all knew the secondary would be bad, but the Dline and LBs are just not playing well at all (LBs other than Jaylon Smith can’t even stay on the field). I don’t even think our defensive coaches can really tell where to put Jaylon to unleash the absolute beast that he is because Lee and LVE can’t stay on the damn field. People can say what they want about Jaylon, but watch what happens when he gets to play his natural position with some help. Dude can lay the wood and is fast (his stats last year were identical to Luke Kuechley)!

Teams that can’t put pressure on the QB -OR- have an insanely good secondary, simply don’t win in this league. In my opinion Nolan is already on the hot seat because this defense looks really bad.
