The other day I was scouting around looking for some decent creative commons music and video to make a YT vid and came across Josh Woodward.

Josh is a very talented musician who has 8 or 10 studio produced albums and offers all 170 songs he wrote as FREE downloads and permits his music to be used as creative commons. Josh plays all the instruments in his music, as you'll see in this video.

A lot of his music reminds me of some of Juke99's music. I really like it.

Here's one of his very catchy tunes.

Anyone here know of some great sites for creative commons music and video? :)

I have an issue with you. No Friday Five? What's up with that?

This is a pretty cool site.

http://incompetech.com/

He has a lot of different stuff on there, pretty sure all of which is instrumental stuff.

I think it's pretty cool. If I were to ever use this sort of stuff on a regular basis, I'd likely end up donating back to the site.

:laugh2: yeah, I'm not sure whats up with that.: I suppose I could go back in the archives to say 2009, but that would be kinda cheesy. Not that anyone would notice that far back.

I'll check that out. Josh Woodward has had some pretty significant contributions to his cause over the years.

This site has some creative commons stuff in it. I'm mostly interested in the live stuff, but they have a seperate area for recorded audio. Some great compilations of early recorded music.

Plus a giant smorgasbord of a music collection.

..."Coffee" and "Goodbye to Spring" gained some notariety on Youtube with a Jack Russel terrier.
