I could see having Dak out there for a few packages with his running ability if Romo takes over.

Not the other way around though.

Thanks sir, I appreciate it!

Dont like mint though, prefer strawberry

We have not argued over much football lately.

I think I am going to do something controversial again.

may be look up my old stats stuff and argue over TOP/rushing with the stats boys again

I guess there's just not much controversy right now. :D

lol that is correct.
we need some controversy.
i need to check up my stats notes first.
i seem to remember certain situations you cannot perform a regression.
TOP/rushing with winning may fit in that situation.
Basically they are both results, not independent variables...

Many of you are going to hate this because it can disrupt team chemistry.

I am just thinking of what Jerry said, and interpreting it a little.
May be FO thinks Romo cannot stay healthy if he were to play every game.
Perhaps they are saving him for the post season.

Obviously you cannot just put him in totally rusty.
Perhaps there is some way of sprinkling him in.

For example, it is safer to put him in for 1st downs where run and pass are both options.
Never put him in on 3rd and long.
On some 1st downs, you can also put him in with 4 wideouts where he hands the off to Zeke.
The 4 wideouts and possibly 1 safety would only leave 6 to defend the run or blitz.
In that case, he would simply make the D respect the pass a little more and give Zeke a little more room.
Perhaps even run from the shotgun?
Limit his passing plays to may be 3-4 per game on 1st and 10?

Running away as fast as possible

We don't have to invent scenarios where Romo plays this season. Odds are Dak will struggle enough that Romo will have to be put in as the starter before week 17.

This is not a knock Dak, but we should prepare ourselves for this likely possibility.

Is this a Dallas thing or do I just not watch TV enough?

Maybe you're blocking out commercials, either mentally or electronically? If not, by all means, watch more TV and don't drink.

Like youself, I had a close call with death years ago, due to intestinal trouble. Now, I have to watch my diet and alcohol intake.

Hang in there, bro! Life ain't always easy but it's manageable. Good thing we've got the Cowboys to make it all worthwhile. ;)

Nonsense...Time to try the Landry prescription. Alternate Romo and Dak each play with
the QB bringing in the play just like Morton & Staubach. Garrett is the new Landry so why
not try all of the Landry tricks.
