Speaking of rule changes, I thought the NFL was going to make illegal contact a point of emphasis this season? I have been watching for two weeks and all I see is defenders mugging WRs downfield.
Yeah I saw that as well, but the less laundry on the field the better lol.

Chase was double teamed most of the night. They had Hooker over to his side. Smart coaching from Dan Quinn.

He's a top 5 pick who just made 2nd team all pro. He's not the best but it's not really a huge stretch to say he is (he's at worst a fringe top 5 guy)

I think he falls into the same class as Lamb. He’s a very good receiver, but he’s not Megatron, Jerry Rice or Randy Moss in his prime. He’s probably a top 25 receiver and the ranking within that top 25 fluctuates a lot based on perception, recent competition and circumstances.

They let ‘em play yesterday. There were several
plays where Cowboys receivers were hit early but at least the refs don’t seem to have an agenda or anti Cowboys bias. Diggs got a significant push off as well.

i don't think it's a stretch either ..because he does belong in that tier of WRs

... it's just that other guys like Adams, Tyrek, Kupp, etc. have been doing it longer than just an only 2nd year Chase.

while much will talked about Diggs vs Chase ... i think it's a disservice overlooking Anthony Brown who probably had more coverage responsibility than
Diggs

Chase lines up mostly on Brown's side ..and Anthony held up considerably.when he had to cover Chase.

Exactly. If Chase does 1400 yards again (which he's on pace for) he'll be a top dollar guy
I think he falls into the same class as Lamb
A guy who had 13 touchdowns and over 1400 yards is in the same tier as Lamb ? Yeah sorry that's a complete joke

but he’s not Megatron, Jerry Rice or Randy Moss in his prime
There's like maybe 3 other receivers in the last 25 years that are in the same league as those 3. Being in the same league as those 3 is not the standard for being high level or elite.

He’s probably a top 25 receiver and the ranking within that top 25 fluctuates a lot based on perception, recent competition and circumstances.
No disrespect but this is completely delusional. Guys that are top 25 (but not top 20) are guys in like the Beasley, Lockett, and Brandin Cooks. Fringe 1000 yards and maybe 5 or 6 touchdowns.

That's a complete insult to claim "Chase is probably a top 25 guy" (no dude, he's like at worst a fringe top 5 guy)

Chase is good but saying he may be the best receiver in the NFL is a stretch. Lol.

Diiggs did make a huge run stop at a critical time. But he also pretty much yelled Ole’ earlier in the game in a similar situation. Glad to see him partially make up for his earlier lack of effort.
Maybe he was confusing him with Jefferson for Minnesota

To be clear, I wasn;t talking about just the Cowboys. All over the league I have seen a lot of contact. Perhaps the league realized if the make it a point of emphasis the will run out of yellow flags.

Diggs balled out yesterday. He made a huge play with the open field tackle at the end of the game (may have actually been the game winning play depending on how you want to see it) and was pretty sticky in coverage again. The interceptions will come. He is in the right place and I think we all agreed we would give up some interception for more fundamentally sound coverage.

After all of the off season chatter. Videos of him getting burned in practice etc. He goes up against Chase (probably the best receiver in football) and only gives up 6 yards when he was covering him.

This is also after Chase talked abut him in a negative way.

Also. To those who like to crack on Diggs for not liking to tackle. He basically saved the game for the Cowboys yesterday with a very physical play.

Kudos to him.

Great team win. Rush looked good. Did what needed to be done. Very happy on this Monday morning when I didnt think I would be. Love being wrong.

Happy Monday everyone!

WE WERE AT HOME!!!! WE'RE NOT AT HOME HE GOES FOR 200
