So you are saying Ramsey is on part with Ed Reed or Ronnie Lott?
I don't think so.

Good Point now in Hardlines defense I'm not sure Lott style would work in this flag football league

If Ramsey is there and we take Bosa, I will puke. If Ramsey isn't available I'm ok with it but Ramsey is a generational talent... Bosa... isn't.

It will be interesting to see how the players' careers turn out, but I favor Bosa because we're in worse need of a defensive line that can affect the QB than a secondary that can cover.

I would not be upset, though, in that situation if we picked Ramsey.

As far as athletic talent coming out of college... he absolutely does. We don't know about his pro career just like anyone coming out of college but his athletic ability is thru the roof.

I do like that this gives a realistic shot of Ramsey falling to us, though.

Ramsey is going to transition to a safety. If he can't even play CB, how can he be a generational talent?

Which to me makes it rather presumptuous to compare him to Ronnie Lott and Ed Reed (not that you did).

But I would want Ramsey over Bosa.

Bosa is not a quick-twitch, pure pass-rusher, so don’t expect a 15-sack season

I read this so often about Bosa. It's always a he's not great but ...

Pass.

Oh, and I notice CC has the Texans taking Elliott. I doubt very seriously the Texans take Elliott after having signed Lamar Miller.

Second, I do love the fact that they have Elliott dropping, though. If Elliott were to drop that far down, I don't see another team with interest in him except the Panthers @ (31) and the Titans @ (32). Surely we could get back up and get him.

Then, again, they have Paxton Lynch falling out of the first round (a real possibility). Cowboys could just stay put and get him or go up to get him.

Intrigue, indeed.

I don't see the Rams paying what it would take to get the #1 overall pick. They would have to trade away most of their draft to get that high. They could stay where they are and grab Lynch, who has a similar skill set, but is more raw.

The Rams benefited from the RGIII fiasco. I don't think they want to risk being at the other end of a similar deal.

Not saying Wentz will be a bust. I think he will be terrific. But every draft choice has risk.

Not Wentz. I hear even risk is scared to bet against him. ;)

Ramsey can play any spot in the secondary. ....

Maybe I have been looking at the wrong scouting reports, but the ones I have project him as a slot CB and a safety. Wilbur can play all the LB spots, but that doesn't mean you want him to.

He is protected as safety as best position. Ramsey can play all spots in the secondary at a high level (protected). Wilbur isn't even a day 2 draft pick while Ramsey is considered best defensive talent in the draft and top 5 pick. You should be ashamed of yourself for comparing Wilbur to Ramsey

Woodson played safety too but was able to play corner and some linebacker. Are you telling me he wasn't a generational talent because he played safety (which was a different position than he played in college)? Ramsey is a tremendous athlete. It's not his fault that he was so talented that FSU used him as the primary defender on the other teams number 1 receiver whether it was a wr or te or a back out of the backfield.

I did not compare them, I took the statement and applied the logic. Don't twist things out of context.
