If they did, they would suffer from the law of diminishing returns. I get their draw and ratings...but every week would hurt them in the long run
Yep. After awhile, it would drop off. Dallas is the moneymaker, but they can’t lose their heads. Dallas losing in the playoffs is the most lucrative, but even that is getting old. Time for them (finally!) to let nature take its course. Dallas will win within the next year or two to “recharge that battery”.

I think even the trolls here realize how much money the Cowboys bring the NFL. There isn't a network on television that wouldn't take every single Cowboys game.
If they are winning, I get to see most of the games here in Tennessee. If they are losing, like when Dak was out for the season, I didn't get to see very many games at the house. I had to go to a sports bar to watch.

Bro. NBC has been Sunday night football for like 2 decades now.
I think you're mistaken. At least where I live. NBC by me is channel 4. They charge to stream their content. I stream Sunday night football every year on my phone from work, and it's not channel 4. I guess I'll see what is going on soon enough.

I know you’re getting hammered for that comment but where have you been? Lol NBC started doing Sunday night games in 2006.

Lol what have you been watching it on
Maybe I got the network wrong. But I was pretty sure it was NBC that charged for streaming their content. Maybe it was ABC? I'll find out soon enough. I have a feeling I got this wrong by the feedback I've been getting. Now I'm in a much better mood.

NBC did Notre Dame games every Saturday for years. Heck, why not the same concept with Dallas? Its an idea.

the Carton Show ran a clip of the Jets from Hard Knocks, with the outro “thanks to the Jets for sharing this clip…”. Had that been the Cowboys, it would have been something snarky about the overhyped Cowboys screaming for attention. EVERYTHING they say or do is heavily criticized. Goes with the hype and coverage, and WHY they’re America’s Team. That drives the trolls and Haters INSANE!

The other nets would not allow it. The limit on SNF appearances is 3 per season unless the league flexes the game.

yeah the other day Carton (and others on other shows) were merciless on Jones for simply giving a stock public relations answer on the teams chances this year. What else would he say? Its the same thing every CEO on CNBC and every running politician on MSNBC, CNN, NewsNation and Fox do. Its just stock positive spin you really have to do. Oh and every coach and gm and owner in the NFL also do about their team, sans a few which are obviously rebuilding. For almost 50 years I never got the level of hate they get. I think the haters feed off of other haters and it grows like a cancer.

I don't doubt it. The Cowboys are a ratings Bonanza.

NFL fans love them or hate them, there is very little indifference.

Prediction: This is Jerry's next big lawsuit - to get the rights to package Cowboys games to one major network.
