I am not understanding the Jets choice.

They just signed Revis to a CRAZY deal
They also just signed Buster Scrines.

Why would they turn around and pay a decent amount to yet another DB.

Seems odd.

Plus they have Dee Milner from 1st rounder. I know he was injured last year. Cromartie did play for Bowles last year, so there is that connection.

Completely forgot about them taking the Alabama CB in the first round.

I love this argument. We've decided to lose all our depth players for what reason?

All our depth players? Who did we lose that we didn't want to? Because we didn't overpay for players like Durant, Harris and Parnell we decided to lose all our depth players. I'm grateful the FO is finally making the right decisions and building this team the way it should be built.

I love how some people get so down because Dallas didn't run right out and throw a bunch of money at a huge name.

Those are the same people that would be blasting Dallas in a year or two for throwing money at that big name because it kept them from resigning one of their own guys or something.

Hilarious.

They are overspending on the CB position. No need for Cromartie now when you sign 2 starters, including a true shutdown guy in Revis, and a young 1st rounder in Milner on the roster. Plus you've got a strong front 7

Cromartie is a good ball player but he wouldn't be the answer long term here.

This team is finally, after almost 20 years, building a team through smart financial decisions and the draft. I am literally shocked we are going about things this way. If you would have told me three years ago that this how the Cowboys are doing things I would have laughed.

That is how the FO is spinning it and you guys are gobbling it up. Hilarious.

You could be right.

All I know is that breaking the bank for free agent players hasn't worked for us in almost 20 years whether they be back-up players or superstars from other teams. We have holes to fill, no doubt about that, especially at the linebacker spot now among other positions.

At the same time, letting these guys go in free agency means nothing if we don't have a good plan to replace them and their production. I am interested to see what we are going to do in the draft and what money we are willing to spend on who is left out there in free agency.

And what is your plan. Another internet GM who knows best?.....tell us your plan, that is cap friendly and keeps / adds depth instead of just making bland comments...I love posts [not really] that jabs but offer no concepts....
