I was the leader of the Antonio cromartie bandwagon all offseason. The guy has clearly made a difference in the jets secondary and he can return kicks. All we had to do was give up our 3rd string RB. Judging by our secondary this year we could've used him.

He's also one of the dumbest football players in the NFL. I'd take him, but it's easy to see why lots of teams want nothing to do with the guy.

To the OP.You don't have to trade Choice to get Cromartie. He's an UFA after this season.

Cowboys beat writer Todd Archer says there is "zero truth" to the Tashard Choice-for-Antonio Cromartie trade rumors. It only makes sense for the Chargers, who need a lead tailback and are shopping their underachieving corner. Choice is seemingly "stuck" as a third-stringer, but the Cowboys need him with Marion Barber apparently breaking down.

Several Cowboy fans wanted him in the 2006 NFL Draft. Nope we just had to pick Carp just because Parcells coached his dad. Low and behold, Cromartie goes the next pick to the Chargers at 19.

I do remember him being a bit of a pot stirrer, even with the mods, so it's no surprise. I just hadn't seen anything about it.

Heck, why rue Cromartie --- Sam Shields could have been had for a $10,000 signing bonus this off-season. He was just an undrafted free agent.
