Think it'd have to be easily cuttable for Cromartie, because age and…

No way we're going to sign an ancient, over the hill CB, not even at a good price.
This was just a player looking for work with a wealthy owner and Irvin being sociable.

He prolly likes that she is so hard core.. She's not what got him cut, tho. Reading the beat writer's reports, it was just economics.

His wife and her mouth made economics an unworkable issue.

I like Cromartie for the simple fact that if the man holds out for more money saying it is because he needs to feed his family, he really the only NFL player that means it and absolutely needs to.

The new "Father of our country."

didnt he have a bad year last year??

He didn't have a pick for the first time since his rookie year. His best days are behind him he's looking for his 5th team that says everything I need to know about where his career is. The last 2 teams he's played for AZ and the Jets it's been one and done.

All things considered, I would have cut Carr, spent money on a pass rusher and a RB(Miller isn't that much more costly over Zeke and is more proven as an NFL back), used the draft for DT as there are loads of them available and not so many pass rushers and for CB.....even mediocre ones get 5-6m per year, would rather draft a couple and get by on the cheap. In draft, trade down from #4 to middle of round one, take best corner at that point...Hargreaves, Alexander or Apple. Use our #2 and #3 plus whatever we get in trade down to add S, CB, DE or LB.

I don't have a problem with Cromartie other than the last few years his play has declined but he can still make
plays. If he came cheap NO PROBLEM !!! rather have him than Carr to be honest.

lol - Grimes would be a nice pickup and his wife can hang out with Beasley's wife.

So true. Grimes woman is so crazy that she's scared off teams from signing him. But what's he gonna do to stop her? Nothing because he's scared of her too
