Obviously the Cowboys have cleared up enough salary cap to trade for Crosby, if they choose to do so. They could make a move now for Cosby but there would be very little cap room left to make any in season moves due to injuries, etc.
Could the Cowboys be waiting for some of Crosby’s salary this season to be paid by the raiders week by week. (1/17 of $30,000,000 each week). 4 or 5 weeks would cut his cap number allocated to the Cowboys dramatically.
I was checking out what players the Cowboys could trade to offset the incoming cap impact and there really doesn’t appear to be many options in that regard. (Hooker maybe?).
