This should be sticky'd on top of the Fan Forum because tonight just wasn't our night. You just can't blame any single play, player, decision call/non-call for the reason we lost. Wasn't our time. I'm sitting better with this playoff loss than I was in the past. We have some young talent to work with and a different attitude about the team.

I've been watching the NFL since 1981 and I just can't believe how good/accurate these kickers have becomes in the last 10-15 years.

There was a time when a 50 yarder was a complete rarity.

The way those balls waffled around it seems like he just got lucky both times.

Here is something to chew on about Crosby. I was reading a Fox sports article on Crosby field goals and it said he was 0-4 for fgs that were either game winning or game tying for kicks that were 50 yds or more. And he made two against us back to back. I believe the Cowboys are snake bitten.

And for a split second when it started right at the goal post, I thought it might hook wide. Then the sucker curved back right.

Incredible odds against an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for a huddle violation wiping out a red zone first down.

Incredible odds against completing a pass on the sideline by a couple of inches on 3rd and 20 with 3 seconds left.

I never had a doubt Crosby would make those field goals. That's how it's been for the Cowboys this century.
