I love this guy's vids. Here's one where he crossed from Europe to North America on board a cargo ship. He has another set of vids where he voyaged from Israel to Italy. Looks like a cool thing to do. I want to do this if I can find a way to swing it.

No, but you can get a casino on just about any cruise ship. It does have a workout room and a pool, which is pretty cool for a cargo ship.
A casino in that bad boy would be a back room, with a folding table and chairs, and a few shady cats (sailors :)) with crisp hundreds in their pockets and three fresh decks of cards @haleyrules

Here's one of his vids from his trip from Israel to Italy with a stop in Cyprus. He got some incredible areal shots via his drone of the ship as the ship was being pulled out with a tug boat starting at 12:15. He took a chance of losing his drone into the ocean because the ship was moving. Pretty cool how he was able to do that and land the drone on the ship.

I totally thought this thread was a game of thrones meme when Tyrion Lannister had to sneak out of kings landing inside a crate on a boat to see daenerys targaryen in meereen

Does that guy work for the ship or has found a way to hitch rides?

He does not work for a shipping company. Many cargo ships have normal passenger tickets for sale, usually from 4 to 12 tickets. There aren't that many cabins available, so you have to book way in advance and you have to be more flexible. It's not like a cruise ship where you as a passenger are the highest priority. Moving the freight is the high priority, so you have to be prepared to be flexible for schedule changes. I personally could live with that, so it's why I'm considering doing this.
